Clergy Pastoral Care

A member of our clergy is always available by appointment for pastoral care, counseling, and spiritual conversation. A clergyperson on call can be reached in after-hours pastoral emergencies through the Cathedral switchboard at 317-636-4577. If you or a family member is hospitalized, please notify the Cathedral offices as soon as possible so that we may visit with you and offer prayers and anointing for the sick. (With new health care regulations, hospitals do not notify us when a member is admitted.) As well, our clergy share with our trained lay caregivers in visiting homebound members, bringing Home Communions during the Christmas and Easter seasons.
