My name is Cathy Gray – and yes, “Cathy” is my full first name (my father always claimed that he had chosen the Italian version, Catalina, but didn’t know how to spell it and my mother was asleep when it was time to fill out the papers!).  I am wife, mother, grandmother, and dog owner, writer/ poet, teacher, quilter, gardener, and a bit of an artist – all of which bind me to God and nourish my spirit.  At Christ Church, being so nourished is essential, since the focus of my work here is to help nourish the spirits of our children and youth.

If you’re looking for a great film to watch, I recommend asking someone else – but if you’re in search of a great book I suggest the poetry of Thomas Traherne or T.S. Elliot, anything by Parker Palmer or Wendell Berry – or (to spark your inner child) Adam and Eve’s First Sunset by Sandy Eisenberg Sasso.  All may be read joyfully and quoted often!
