The Rev. Whitney Rice is a native of Lee's Summit, Missouri.  Following her undergraduate at the University of Kansas attended Berkeley Divinity School at Yale for her seminary training, where she was the two-time winner of the Yale Preaching Award. As a curate, she has been apprenticing with the canons of the cathedral, developing from recent seminary grad to transitional deacon to ordained priest on January 17, 2009.  In January of 2010 she was identified as a rising leader in the city of Indianapolis and invited to become a Hoosier Fellow of the Randall L. What I love about CCC: Christ Church Cathedral is an awesome place to minister because of the teamwork that happens here. Whether it is among the staff in the office or in small ministry groups out in the parish, all of the ways in which we serve together are marked by fellowship full of humor and joy. I give thanks to God for bringing me here and I give thanks to the people of CCC for their open hearts and helping hands.
