Human Needs Ministry

We offer financial assistance to a limited number of people (approximately five per week) who are not members of the parish for only one of the following:

• Emergency travel, out of Indianapolis. $35 maximum
• Rent. Need copy of lease. $50 maximum, paid direct.
• Utilities, excluding telephone or cell phone bills. $50 maximum, paid direct.

Individuals may receive assistance once every two years.

Fred Andrews, Human Needs coordinator, is available in the St. Francis Foyer at Christ Church Episcopal Cathedral on a first-come, first-served basis Tuesday mornings only, from 8 a.m. to noon.

Assistance is available in person only. No appointments are available at any time. Applications and requests for help will not be accepted by phone. Rental and utility assistance are paid directly to the company or landlord within one week after applying for help.
