How can I become a Steward?

There are a number of ways. Here are few:

• Make a donation through Christ Church Cathedral (online form coming soon!)
• Make a written pledge of support for God's ministries through this Church
• Volunteer to serve others through a church-sponsored or community agency
• Volunteer to serve on a church committee
• Join a church Mission team
• Let the church know what talents you would like to share
• Learn more by talking with a Stewardship Committee member
• Transform your daily money decisions, and help your children and youth think about money at www.sharesavespend.com
• Explore theological stewardship themes at TENS (The Episcopal Network for Stewardship), www.TENS.org

Can I give property or stocks to the Church?

Yes, you can. The Cathedral Finance Office can assist you in making such gifts. Gifts of physical objects or real estate must be approved by the Vestry before they can be accepted. Can I make gifts to specific funds at Christ Church Cathedral?

Yes. In addition to a pledge to the general fund, which supports all the ministries of the church, you can make specific gifts to assist the poor and needy through Human Needs Ministry or Adopt-a-Family, for altar flowers to remember a loved one, or for particular programs to benefit youth, missions, or music. Contact the office at 317-636-4577, to make such a gift.

Can I get assistance for planning a gift to the Church through my estate?

Yes, the Episcopal Church can provide assistance for making a number of gifts through a bequest, a life-gift or charitable trusts. In addition to Christ Church Cathedral's office, the Episcopal Church Foundation can provide professional help. Visit www.episcopalfoundation.org to:
