Christ Church Cathedral in Indianapolis seeks an Academic Support Specialist for the Choir School. The Choir School at Christ Church Cathedral is a five-day per week afterschool music program for students grades 3 through 8, offering musical instruction, performance opportunities, academic support, and meals. The mission of Christ Church Cathedral is to Glorify God; serve our neighbors; and transform our city. The Choir School provides musical training to children and empowers them to glorify God in choral services. The choir school serves our neighbors by connecting students and parents with educational resources, community services, and meals. The Choir School transforms our city by being a positive force in the wider community, offering performance and service opportunities to benefit our city.

The Academic Support Specialist for the Choir School reports to the director of music and is responsible the academic success and progress of our students. The Academic Support Specialist for the Choir School evaluates each student to create an academic action plan; communicates with parents and teachers to track the academic success of students; and evaluates students’ progress, and the success of the Choir School’s academic programming.
