The Reverend Canon Greg Baker
Canon for Spiritual Formation |Email Greg

The Rev. Greg Baker joined our staff in July 2022 after serving as Curate at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Nashua, New Hampshire. He is a graduate of St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont, where he studied political science and theology, and Yale Divinity School, where he attended seminary. Prior to seminary, Greg served in the Episcopal Service Corps program based in Boston, working at a mobile health clinic dedicated to providing free health services to underserved communities. He is thrilled to be joining the staff at Christ Church Cathedral, and is excited to join in the work of connecting faith to everyday life as we seek and serve Christ together.

As the Canon for Spiritual Formation, Greg oversees all aspects of the Cathedral’s formation and educational ministries, including our offerings for children, youth, and adults. He is particularly focused on renewing and revitalizing these offerings in a post-pandemic world, incorporating lessons learned in the COVID era about where, how and why people seek spiritual development.

Greg also has a passion for food, photography, and soccer – he still plays when he can – and enjoys spending down time with his dog Watts.
