Tom is a retired priest working part-time to oversee the Cathedral’s pastoral ministries. Educated at Syracuse University, the University of Chicago, and Virginia Theological Seminary, he served congregations in Washington, D.C. and Baltimore before moving to Indianapolis where he was rector of Trinity Church for 14 years. After retiring from Trinity he served as interim rector of Holy Trinity Church in Oxford, Ohio. Tom’s wife Liz is Professor of Anthropology at IUPUI. Their children are Emily, Caroline, and Grace. For leisure Tom enjoys music, rowing and running, reading fiction and non-fiction. Tom is a long-time IndyCar and Formula One fan.
