Black History Month | “The Lunch Date”

The Racial Justice Team invites you to this Sunday Forum where we will show the short film, “The Lunch Date” and have an open discussion on stereotypes and prejudices. “The Lunch Date” is a study of perceptions that won the 1991 Oscar for Best Short Film. It offers an opportunity to discuss fear and difference, race, social class and status, and the power of unexamined privilege.

From IMDB.com: A woman misses her train and buys lunch in a café. When she returns to her table, a man is eating her salad.
