Christ Church Cathedral’s annual Blessing of the Animals, a celebration in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, recognizes the importance of our furry, plumed and scaly friends in our lives.

We welcome pets of all kinds (plus their owners) at this outdoor event. We’d love to meet your cats, dogs, iguanas, fish, ferrets, turtles, and more! Animals will receive a special blessing in addition to a St. Francis medallion as a token of love and protection.

Masks are required for all humans over 2 years of age. For everyone’s safety, animals are required to be contained or leashed and under the control of an adult at all times.

Offerings of pet food or other supplies will be shared with The Stable Pet Food Pantry at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity.
