Invitation to Education for Ministry (EfM)

Would you like to explore
– Christian scripture (Old and New Testament)
– Church History
– Theology
– And the practice of Theological Reflection?
We call this EfM at Christ Church Cathedral. You would join a small community of people
during the afternoon or evening (your choice) who engage with others in life’s discovery of the
spiritual journey with God that is truly unique individually and communally as it is lived out in
day to day ordinary life.
EfM is a 4 year commitment (September-May), weekly sessions (except major holidays) of
2.5hrs each week meeting together (6-10 members). You decide your commitment annually in
June as life circumstances may interrupt your EfM journey.
EfM community is facilitated by a lead person trained in the EfM process. EfM is structured,
guided and has oversight by the Episcopal Church – University of the South, Sewanee,
Tennessee.
If you are a graduate or past member of EfM and would like to return, you are most welcome!
