You are invited to prepare for the Feast of Pentecost by joining a Vigil of Pentecost live streamed from Christ Church Cathedral and the Virtual Abbey on Saturday, May 30 at 7:30 PM.  This service of readings and prayer will evoke God’s promise of the Holy Spirit and prepare us to receive the Spirit as on that first Day of Pentecost. Instrumental music exploring variations of Veni Sancte Spiritus will be offered both by Christopher Caruso-Lynch, the cathedral’s Music Director, and the Coro Latinoamericano Ensemble.  Participants are encouraged to have a candle ready to light during the service.  The bilingual service will be less than an hour.  A service leaflet will be available including all texts in both English and Spanish.
