CCC Hosts Coburn Place Lemonade Stand

FRIDAY, JULY 15 FROM 11AM-2PM

Most of us remember the excitement of picking out new shoes, clothes and supplies for the start of the school year. You can ensure the brave children of survivors have that same experience by joining us next Friday and donating to their Lemonade Stand – a Coburn Place tradition! CCC will host the Lemonade Stand on our lawn where the kids will have refreshing lemonade and cookies for you! Proceeds from the stand set the kids up for success, helping with art and school supplies, activities, field trip fees, movie passes for good grades, and much-needed mobile hot spots.

Pray for Cathedral Choir on Tour

The Cathedral Choir leaves Wednesday for a week-long tour that will take them to Philadelphia and New York City. The choir will sing services at St. Mark’s Church in Philadelphia and at St. Thomas Church in NYC. Singing in two such grand and historic churches connects our Cathedral choristers to the wider community of church musicians. Please keep all our travelers in your prayers.

Stained Glass Project Continues

Last week, crews began the extensive project to add a protective covering to CCC’s stained glass windows. This week, the small stained glass panel that was broken last Thanksgiving was successfully replaced. It is expected that the project will wrap up around July 20. During this time, there will be scaffolding, lifts, and various construction items on the front lawn. While the process may seem messy, it will help maintain our beautiful windows for years to come! We thank you for your patience through this process.

GOOD WORD SUBMISSION FORM
