What is intercessory prayer?

Intercessory prayer is seeking the presence and audience of God on behalf of others – simply put, asking God’s help or favor to meet the needs of other people and situations. Intercessory ministry team or group then is a team or group that is committed to praying for the needs of others and situations. The intercessory prayer team is NOT providing solutions; the team is a bridge, allowing the presence of God to work through them in responding to the needs being presented.

The intercessory prayer ministry team has been meeting to pray since April 2020.

Format for meeting:

Meet weekly on Friday at 5 PM for one hour • Intercessory prayer Space is safe and maintains confidentiality
