We are blessed that two of our talented parishioners have graciously accepted our call to assist with our Children’s and Youth Ministries. Anne Tordai, our Interim Children’s Ministry Coordinator, is an Indianapolis native and 3rd generation member of Christ Church Cathedral, where she was baptized and married. She is delighted to be a part of the Christian formation of the next generation at her spiritual home. Anne previously served as Director of Children’s Formation from 2013 to 2020, where she feels called to help children and families deepen their relationships with God through service, holy day celebrations reflecting our diverse cultural backgrounds, and learning the stories of scripture through the Godly Play curriculum. In her spare time Anne is an avid gardener and enjoys camping, kayaking, hiking and anything outdoors. She is an active member of her local Girl Scout Service Unit board and is in her 10th year as a Girl Scout troop leader.

Ellen Grayson, our interim Youth Ministry Coordinator, has been an engaged member of CCC for 26 years, singing in both the Girls’ Choir and the Cathedral Choir, volunteering with CCC youth, and serving currently as a verger. Recently, Ellen also gave her time and talent as a member of the Search Committee for our Dean and Rector. She is a 2021 graduate from IUPUI with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education, and she teaches second grade in a new elementary school in downtown Indianapolis. Ellen is a proud cat mom to Zira, and in her spare time Ellen loves riding roller coasters and spending time with her friends.
