New members appointed to Cathedral Foundation Board

Our Vestry has appointed three new members to the Christ Church Cathedral Foundation board, which oversees and manages the endowments that so generously fund portions of our ministry. Welcome to Hope Hampton, Mike Carter and Eric Stark.

Community leader Hope Hampton was appointed to a three-year term to our Foundation board. Hope is the Executive Director of Project Home Indy (PHI), a residential facility for girls 15-19 who are pregnant and parenting. She is currently focused on continuing to create stronger partnerships for PHI with other providers in our community. Hope currently serves on the advisory council for the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra and the Spirit & Place Festival and is on the board of directors for the Mapleton Fall Creek Development Corporation.

Cathedral parishioner Mike Carter has been appointed to a one-year term on the Christ Church Cathedral Foundation board. A supply chain readiness leader at Cummins, Mike has extensive experience in nonprofit and community development work, including a stint on Mayor Bart Peterson’s staff from 2001-2007. With a law degree from Indiana University’s McKinney School of Law, studies at Harvard Business School, and prior board service with Planned Parenthood, Indianapolis Local Improvement Bond Bank, and St. Richard’s Episcopal School, he brings a valued community perspective to our Foundation’s work.
