Walk a Mile in the Refugee’s Shoes

FullSizeRender (1)

A new organization has emerged in Indianapolis to facilitate and coordinate community efforts to provide legal, psychological and other services for immigrants in Central Indiana.
We are COIN, Coalition for Our Immigrant Neighbors

COIN is a resource for our immigrant neighbors and for the entire Indianapolis community. To that end, COIN is hosting its first free, major simulation event – Walk in a Refugee’s Shoes – on July 23. This is an hour-long simulation that allows participants to assume the identity and role of a refugee and experience some typical activities on their journey. This event is ideal for families, friends, classmates, employees or congregants.

We are asking your organization to help us by joining us as a sponsor. Per the Sponsorship form, we have levels from $250 to $2,500 (and higher) – aptly named to honor refugees – Courage, Bravery, Valor and Spirit.
