Bake Week 2023

Bake Week is quickly approaching and will take place from Sunday, May 7 to Thursday, May 11. Bake week is when we bake all 15,000 shortcakes that will be drenched in strawberries and served to hungry crowds at the 57th annual Strawberry Festival on June 8. All are welcome to help, as we have a variety of jobs for a variety of abilities. We ask that the minimum age for volunteers is 12 years old with an accompanying adult. There will be three shifts per day: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.; and 4 to 8 p.m. The Tuesday evening shift from 4 to 8 p.m. will be conducted in Spanish and hosted by Maria Luisa Sanchez and Joselin Ramirez. Those who speak Spanish are always welcome at other shifts, but there will be a need for a little translation help! Sign up for one or more shifts!

The Cathedral Women are requesting donations to help feed our volunteers during Bake Week.
