At Christ Church Cathedral, we believe we can use our unique talents and resources to provide and serve. Through two grant programs, we offer financial support to organizations who care for those in need, and who—in their own ways—widen the circle of God’s embrace.
Covenant Ministry Grants
Christ Church Cathedral is committed to working collectively and individually with those in need, while respecting their dignity as human beings. As we engage in this ministry, we will strive to exercise the stewardship of all the gifts God has given us.
After undergoing a season of discernment in 2021, CCC is revisioning the grant process and priorities. Additional information will be available in February 2022.
In order to maintain good communications for the duration of the granting period, recipients of funding are required to submit a Follow-Up Report within 90 days of receipt of funds. Grant recipients who do not submit a timely progress report shall not be eligible for funding the following year. 2021 Follow-up Form
Strawberry Festival Grants
The annual Strawberry Festival is CCC’s largest fundraiser and proceeds—which number in the tens of thousands—go directly to local, national, and international organizations. The grants are limited to $3,000, must meet certain requirements (Grant Guidelines), and are only available to 501(c)(3) organizations. They generally support children’s and women’s groups, but all human needs projects are considered.
The Cathedral Women oversee the Strawberry Festival Grants, which are distributed twice a year, in the spring and fall. The deadlines to apply are February 15 and September 1.
Announcement 11/4/2021: The Cathedral Women regret that we are not accepting applications for funding for the Spring 2022 granting period (daedline Feb. 15). Watch this space for our new application, which we hope to post by June 2022 for the Fall 2022 granting period.
Recipients of Strawberry Festival grants are required to submit this Follow Up Form within 60 days of completion of their funded project. Grant recipients who do not submit a timely progress report shall not be eligible for funding the following year.
