Bishop Jennifer Baskerville-Burrows will preside, and Bishop Deon Johnson of the Diocese of Missouri will preach.

You’re cordially invited to the Installation of The Very Reverend Gray Lesesne, D.Min. as Dean and Rector

The Right Reverend Jennifer Baskerville-Burrows will install The Very Reverend Gray Lesesne as the Dean and Rector of Christ Church Cathedral on Tuesday, February 16 at 7 PM at a virtual service that will be broadcast on the Cathedral’s website and on Facebook Live. In commemoration of the occasion, which happens to fall on Shrove Tuesday, every Cathedral household will receive a gift bag to mark the occasion, including some Mardi Gras goodies, along with Stonewall Kitchen Pancake Mix. So, plan now to make your pancakes and watch as Bishop Jennifer officially makes Gray our new Dean.

Farewell to The Rev. Susan Mills

FEBRUARY 14, 2021 @ 11:15 AM

Say a fond farewell to The Rev. Susan Mills as she prepares to head away to serve as Vicar of Christ Church, Blaine, Washington. Join us for a festive sendoff!

Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday marks the start of the Lenten season. The ashes we receive on our foreheads on Ash Wednesday, symbolize both death and repentance, and serve as a reminder of our mortality and the life of Resurrection offered in Christ as we prepare for Easter. Our services this year will be livestreamed at 12 noon (English), 6 PM (English), and 7 PM (Spanish). Due to COVID safety concerns, we will not be offering in-person Ash Wednesday services or Ashes to Go. Instead, the Cathedral-At-Home Kit we’ve prepared for each Cathedral household will include ashes for you and your loved ones to impose on each other.

Parents’ Meeting for Children’s Formation

Join us to brainstorm about children’s programs at the Cathedral.

Christ Church Cathedral 101 is coming!

Are you new to Christ Church Cathedral? Welcome! CCC 101 is our new on-ramp course to plug in more deeply, learn more about us, and help you make connections. It is our basic “membership information class,” though, of course, there is no pressure to join anything. Instead, CCC 101 is a space for storytelling, pondering questions, trying on spiritual practices and learning about CCC, the Episcopal Church and the Christian tradition in the context of community. We will meet virtually via Zoom on Sunday evenings from 4-5:30 PM beginning February 21 and running for 3 weeks, through March 7.

Centering Prayer Regathering

Join us via Zoom as the Centering Prayer group regathers.
We will meet for a time of reflection and meditation, followed by a discussion on plans for contemplative prayer in 2021. We will conclude at 6:30 p.m. We have not met as a group since March of 2020, and this will be an opportunity to reconnect, check-in, and rest in God’s presence together. Please RSVP to Michael Landon If you are unable to attend this session but wish to be part of the group in the future, please let us know that as well.
