CCC Seeking Program Director for The Choir School

Christ Church Cathedral is a vibrant, multicultural faith community located in the heart of the City and the Diocese of Indianapolis. Over the last three years, we’ve experienced a 20% growth in our average Sunday attendance, tripled our congregational giving, and worked hard to welcome and integrate many newcomers and longtime parishioners returning from COVID into our mission to Glorify God, Serve our Neighbors, and Transform our City.

One of the core components of how we live out our mission is through the arts. In 2022, our longtime chorister program was reimagined as The Choir School. The Choir School at Christ Church Cathedral is an extra-curricular choral program in the Episcopal tradition that supports students in their growth as individuals rooted in community.  Through sacred music, academics, and service, the Choir School provides children a nurturing environment in which they develop into skilled musicians, motivated students, and devoted people of faith.

The Program Director of the Choir School is responsible for the health and growth of the choir school, including recruitment and the establishment of well-functioning management, communications, and continual evaluation and improvement systems. The Program Director of the Choir School interacts with the wider community, in coordination with the Canon and Director of Music, to be the first point of contact with the Choir School, and to foster relationships and encourage collaborations with outside organizations.
