Loving your Neighbor

1. With the unprecedented situation we are all facing with COVID-19 pandemic, more families are in need of support from our local food pantries. With supplies being limited for purchase and regularly scheduled donation drives are halted, your donation will help restock the shelves at the Storehouse Food Pantry.

Westside Episcopal Community Center Storehouse food pantry.  Needs: Bilingual volunteer (English/Spanish) and funding
Donation: Please make checks payable to Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis – Memo: The Storehouse food pantry.
When: Every second Saturday of the month – next 05/09/2020 – Time: 8:30 – 11 AM
Every fourth Wednesday of the month – next 05/27/2020- Time: 2-3 PM & 5 – 6:30 PM

2. St. Albans Episcopal Church Peace Garden: St. Albans Episcopal Church Peace Garden on the East side of Indianapolis was established as an annual memorial to each person in Indianapolis who is killed through gun violence.  The garden is planted in the Spring and harvested all summer and fall for the distribution benefit through several food pantries in East Indianapolis, and it needs volunteers pre-registered for specific start-up events this spring:

Mondays – 4:30-6:00 pm:  May 4; or May 11; or May 18
Saturday May 23 thru June 3 different shifts, to plant 600 tomato plants
